Walter was born on April 22, 1870 in Alabama.
Walter Poole married Katie Eiland on December 25, 1892 in Lee County, Alabama.[1] They had six children together:
- Fannie Belle
- Dozier
- Fenella
- Theodore
- Monroe David (1903-1978)
- Fred.
He died, at the age of 91, on September 15, 1961 in Phenix City, Alabama. [2] He is buried at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Lee County, Alabama.[3]
