If Mary and John's daughter, Catherine was born in 1445, they would have been 7 & 9 years old. Catherine's biography says she is the daughter of John Cotton and Johanna FitzHerbert, John's 2nd wife. Catherine Cotton 1460 – 1495.

Also see notes for Cotton-1931. "Molyneux of Haughton," in Vis. of Lancs., 1664-65, shows Catherine of the dau. of Peter Cotton of Cheshire.
