Theodate Holder married Folger Pope, saddler, son of Stephen, deceased, and Mary, on the 18th day of the 6th month in 1781 in Salem, Massachusetts. ^[4]

Possibly June 18, 1781 or Old Style could be different.

A saddler, shop on Washington Street, opposite City Hall.
