She married first to Benjamin Fish on 15 January 1746/7 at Sandwich.[1] Benjamin died before 06 November 1758 when the widow Mehitable was appointed guardian of Benjamin Fish Jr., Jonathan Fish, Jirah Fish, and Deborah Fish, children of Benjamin Fish, deceased.[2]
She then married Jabez Handy on 22 April 1760 in Sandwich.[3] Jabez died on 11 March 1809 in Easton, New York. Mehitable died there on 03 August 1811. Both Jabez and Mehitable were buried in the "Albert Pierce woodlot" on the Hudson River Road in Easton.[1]
