Pope-94 and Pope-9479 appear to represent the same person because: Same name and vitals. Also same son, and grandson, all with same name and vitals. Also same father, and grandfather, all with the same name and vitals.

Pope-7711 and Pope-94 appear to represent the same person because: Both men are named Jesse Pope with Pope-94 using a middle name of McKinney when records in North Carolina and Georgia do not show Jesse Pope with a middle name or middle initial. Both men were born in about the same year with Pope-94 having an incorrect county location for his birth as deed records show the father for both men as living in Edgecombe county, North Carolina in 1739. Both men are married to the same woman. Both men died in Hancock county, Georgia with Pope-94 having as the date of death the date Jesse Pope made his will, and court records show the will being proved in June 1820. Jesse Pope-7711 has a more extensive biography with documented sources. These men are the same and should be merged.
