Biography

Henry was born in 1891.^[1] He is the son of Stephen Pople and Catherine Greig. He passed away in 1916. ^[2]

At the age of 23, Henry enlisted in the 1st AIF during WW1 and was Killed in Action at the Somme, France on July 27, 1916. ^[3]

Henry was buried at the Pozieres British Cemetery, Ovillers-La Boiselle, France.^{[4] [5]}

His name appears on the Roll of Honour at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. ^[6]
