Last night I was looking through the family tree that my husband's mother had worled on for many years. I came across the name Dyzory Porter and John Seymour and the names really sounded familiar. So I typed them into my tree and 'bingo' up they popped. They were both our 11 x great grandparents. Today I looked and we both descend through their son Robert. I guess it isn't all that unusual except I have found so many other family connections. I am also related to Stephen Hopkins and his son, Giles. Can't remember if I saw them on your site. Genealogy can be so much fun.
