[NOTE: Conflicting Spouse: Porter Genealogy indicates Hannah Porter, dau. of Samuel and Hannah (Stanley) Porter, married John Brown. Nash Genealogy indicates John Nash married a Hannah Porter, parents not stated. History of Hadley, History of Hatfield, Families of Hartford etc. all indicate this Hannah Porter who married John Nash was the daughter of Samuel and Hannah. Unable to find any confirmation that this Hannah Porter married John Brown]

Biography

Hannah Porter was born about 1668, daughter of Samuel and Hannah (Stanley) Porter. [1] [2]

Hannah married John Nash on March 29, 1689 at Hadley, Massachusetts. [3] [4] John was born on August 21, 1667, son of Timothy and Rebecca (Stone) Nash. [5] [6] and [7]

Hannah, wife of John Nash died on May 26, 1689. [3]

After her death, John married second, Elizabeth Kellogg on November 27, 1691. [5] [4]

I have been searching for evidence for Hannah marrying John Brown and/or John Nash and have found nothing solid so far. Several unofficial family trees have her marrying John Brown first, in Hadley, 1685, then John Nash second, 1689 - one source says in Connecticut. Will keep looking.
