James Porter immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Bpt. 20 Feb 1627 at Felsted, Essex. He was named in his fathers 1648 will.[1]
Probably a record for another James: James, s. John, Sr. , m. Sarah Tudor, d. Owen, Jan. 15, 1697, by Mr. Wolcott[2]

This profile may be very confused. The 1622/1628 bpt belongs to Porter-154. The marriage to Sarah Tudor belongs to Porter-1793. The death in England seems unusual. There is a death recorded for a James 29 Sep 1727 in Windsor. And I have no idea whether the to Elizabeth Baldwin is correct. I think some more research should be done on this person etc.
