He is the son of Stewart Porter and Phydella Williams.
A nephew George Scott is in the household in 1880. Whose son is he?
The link between my NY George Porter and my MI George Porter is daughter Lilah. Her birth and place of birth stay the same as do George's. Also George's MI death cert lists Stuart and Phydella. So I think this is right. Can anyone confirm?
Three mystery individuals in the 1860 census are 20 yo Elizabeth Porter, 15 yo George Downer and 40 yo Frederick Gaman.
Signer on death certificate is Gertrude Porter. Is this a spouse or a daughter or daughter-in-law. I believe she is a second wife.
Burial is indicated as Sanborn, New York on death certificate.
