Ellen was born on the 9th of September 1897, with her birth registered in Murwillumbah, New South Wales[1]. She was the daughter of William Porter and Ellen Park. She married William E Shoesmith on 22 Nov 1920 in Taree[2].
Ellen passed away in 1967[3][4][5].
