Biography
John Riley POSEY was born in 1874 in Tennessee, USA as the third child of William Appleton Devanna POSEY and Annie Elizabeth WILES. He had three siblings, namely: Isam Andrew Joseph, Lydia Angeline, and William Edward. When he was 18, he married Sarah Lucinda RISENHOOVER, daughter of Benjamin RISENHOOVER and Anna CRAWFORD, on 03 Mar 1892 in Polk, Arkansas, USA. He died before 1900. According to his granddaughter, Dixie Pauline POSEY, John Riley POSEY and an infant son (name unknown) were buried somewhere in Kerr County, Texas, USA. [1]
