Biography
Jewel was born in 1907 and lived in or near the Parks Arkansas area until her family moved to Ottawa County Oklahoma in 1917. They moved to Tulsa around 1920 as they are enumerated on the 1920 Census. She worked at many different jobs during the depression and World War II. She was working at the Mayo Hotel as a janitor in its heyday. She also worked at the Atlas Life Building as an elevator operator. She passed away in 1989 at St. John Hospital. [1]
