Abigail Smith, the daughter of John Potter and Mary Hitchcock, was born September 23, 1680, baptized December 15, 1689, and died in 1755. She was married twice, to Samuel Thompson, the son of John Thompson and Priscilla Powell, and after his death to Thomas Smith, the son of Thomas Smith and Elizabeth Patterson.[1]
