Researchers Notes

This Nathaniel Potter resided in Bristol, Massachusetts and is not the same Nathaniel Potter as that of Rhode Island. Find A Grave is in error.

On 5 September 1664, he and his brother Abel Potter confirmed a deed made 7 May 1663 of eight acres once in their father's possession by Samuel Wilbur to John Tripp, shaft carpenter.
It is not known when he went to Dartmouth in Plymouth Colony. Nathaniel Potter was on a list of freemen in Dartmouth in 1677 and paid 5 shillings in taxes there in 1680.
