Biography

Jossie Peeler was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Only and Brown Road, Hickman, Hickman County, Tennessee for the April 26, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1877 in Tennessee and had been married nine years. She was the mother of four children of which all were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jim Peeler, daughter Bertie Peeler, daughter Norah Peeler, daughter Stella Peeler and son (daughter) Bernice Peeler.^[1]

Josie M Peeler was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Sugar Creek Road, Civil District 5, Hickman County, Tennessee for the January 14, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1877 in Tennessee and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jim F Peeler, daughter Roberta Peeler, daughter Nora F Peeler, daughter Lora B Peeler, daughter Eula G Peeler and son James C Peeler.^[2]

Josie Peeler was enumerated as wife of the head of household at District 08, Hickman County, Tennessee for the April 2, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1877 in Tennessee and married. She was first married at the age of twenty-four as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James F Peeler, daughter Eula B Peeler and son Casey Peeler.^[3]

Josie Patter Peeler was listed as the wife of James Franklin Peeler who died April 11, 1948 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. The father was listed as Egra Peeler and the mother Sarah Mccord as seen in an image of the original death certificate.^[4]
