Biography
Mabel was born in 1854. She is the daughter of Thomas Potts and Emma Phillips.

- Christening Place: Rockwood Station, Malvern Hills, Canterbury, New Zealand
Mabel married Edward Reginald Chudleigh in 1881. They appear to have had no children.
Her husband passed away in 1920. She was a benefactor of his will. He had a large land holding; two of the farms which made up the estate, Wharekauri and Waihou on the Chatham Islands, were sold in 1973 and 1976 respectively, and the estate was finally distributed in 1980.[1]
She passed away in 1928 at the age of 74.
