Biography
Mary, born in 1678, is the daughter of Robert Robin Povall and Elizabeth Hooker.
In 1698, Mary married Giles Carter. Their children are:

Based on the date of her father's will. 1st Monday in Jan. 1728 - Will of Robert POVEALL probated in Henrico Co. VA. "I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Carter my negro girl named Molley." "I give and bequeath unto Giles Carter tenn barrills of corn to assist in getting this Cropp of corn." [1]
Mary died in 1750 in Granville, North Carolina.
