- When Mary Ann died, he may married (4th) to a woman named Margaret, but if so, it was after 16 Jan 1879 when Mary (Horn) Battle Powell is said to have died and before his own given date of death of 17 Mar 1879, if that's when he died. Seems unlikely, but more to the point I found no marriage record
