Wemergen Powell was enumerated as son of the head of household in Districts 536, 1398, Panthersville, Redan, DeKalb, Georgia for the June 19, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born April 1881 in Georgia and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John Powell, wife Martha Powell, son John E Powell, son Avery Powell and daughter Mierian Powell.^[1]

Memergene Powell was enumerated as son of the head of household at Lithonia and Redan Road, Redan, DeKalb County, Georgia for the January 23, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1882 in Georgia and single. He was a farmer on a general farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John Powell and wife Martha Powell.^[2]

Memergene Powell is buried at Lithonia City Cemetery in Lithonia, DeKalb County, Georgia, USA.^[3]
