Death date of "May 4, 1719" was changed to "before 1687." Agnes Powell was the first wife of Thomas Cocke, Sr. and the mother of his children. He married the widow Margaret Jones before 1687 (when Margaret and Thomas Cocke are named in a dees).^[3]

Margaret, widow of Peter Jones, was the step-daughter of Abraham Wood - some say that Abraham married Margaret Llewellyn and that she (Margaret, wife of (1) Jones, (2) Cocke) was their daughter (see his profile, "Wife"). They were detached from this profile as parents, since this profile is for Thomas Cocke's first wife.
