Notes on Merge: One profile has the name "Decatur" with Cader as a nick name. As all primary sources cited so far seem to show Cader so selecting "Cader" rather than Decatur for the merged profile. One of the profiles merged was connected to Cader Nathaniel Powell and Elizabeth Schoolefield as parents. Since there are no sources on Cader and Elizabeth at all and so far no evidence that they might have been this Cader's parents has been found he is instead connected with uncertain indicators to Jacob and Ann Powell. Jacobe Powell did have a son named "Kader" mentioned in his will[14]. It is not certain that that Cader was the same Cader who lived in Gates NC and married Francis Foote. Further sources or info on parentage are welcome to be added.
On profile listed Birth place as Holland, Nansemond Co., Virginia, since Cader's father Jacob lived in Chowan NC, then Gates NC, changing to Chowan NC until further evidence.

Cader and his son George Powell sr. our my grandfathers . Land grants in Georgia and certificates of servicer show that Moses Sr., Cader and his two brothers Lewis and Moses Jr. served during the Revolutionary war in Georgia. Moses and Cader had previously been recognized by the SAR/ DAR registeries.
Kedor Powell born also 1750 in NC -1786 has no connection to the two mentioned above . His father is Isaac Powell170-1781
If those mentioned are profiled on wikitree, it would be great to clarify who's who with wikitree ID's. Thanks!

Thank you for reviewing, Teresa (WikiTree Arborist)
I have seen it go either way.
Cader died in 1828 or prior to 1828, not 1835 Cader's father Jacob is not proven, but seems logical.
