Biography

Samuel Powell was born about 1799 in Castlemorton, Worcestershire where he was christened at St. Gregory's Church on 23 June 1799, the son of Joseph Powell and Mary (nee Hoffield) Powell^[1]

On 10 October 1829 Samuel married Hannah Evins in Alderton, Gloucestershire^[2][3]

At the time of the 1841 Census Samuel and his wife Hannah are living in Alderton, Gloucestershire with their children George, Mary, Joseph, Richard, Ann and Sarah^[4]

At the time of the 1851 Census Samuel and his wife Hannah are living in Alderton, Gloucestershire with their children George, Sarah and Samuel^[5]
