Walter Farnsworth Powell, son of Barna Powell and Elizabeth Stratton, was born in Sep. 1835 at West Almond, Allegany County, New York, USA. He appeared on the census of 17 Dec. 1850 in the home of his parents at West Almond, Allegany County, New York.[1]
He married Caroline Jeanes Wyse, daughter of Lott Jeanes Wyse and Mary Ann Charlton,
Walter died on 27 Sep. 1903 at West Sparta, Livingston County, New York and was buried at Oaklawn Cemetery, West Sparta, Livingston County, New York. His memorial has a photo of his monument and links to those of family members.[2]
