A Lydia Powell/Powel, with father John, was baptized on 16 May 1756 in Middletown, Connecticut.[1]
She married David Skeels about 1778 in Lanesborough, Berkshire, Massachusetts. (Marriage record unsourced.)
Records show she married the David Skeels born in 1749, not 1746. He died in 1833. [2]
Children: William, David Jr., Amos, Hiram, Anna, Eunice Sibley, Almira, Rhoda, Lydia, Sarah Anne. She died on 5 Aug 1827 in Highgate, Franklin, Vermont, and was buried in Highgate Falls Episcopal Church Cemetery, Highgate Falls, Franklin, Vermont.

Other than the listing on Find A Grave, I can find no records supporting Lydia had a middle name of Sarah, and it does not say Sarah on the headstone. The name has been removed pending a better source. -V. Newsom, 25 Feb 2021.
Many of the Connecticut records for this family spell last name as “Powel”, not “Powell”.
This is not the same person as Lydia Powers, born in Middletown, Connecticut in 1754.
This is not the same person as Lydia Powell b. 1758, married to John Powell in Vermont.
Robert Powell b. 1758 in Massachusetts was not this person’s brother or a son of Ruth Adkins- Ruth died in 1754.
