Biography
William Franklin Power was born on Aug. 24, 1822 in Madison Co., Alabama. He was the son of Holloway Lee and Elizabeth Meals Power. He married Sarah Ann Legg in Jan. of 1847. In 1846-1847 he is found listed on the land maps of Limestone, Alabama. By 1850, he is in Nacogdoches, Texas but I can not find him on the census.n. By 1860, they was in Homer, Angelina, Texas. He died the next year on Jully 22 and is buried there in the Old North Church Cemetery.
