Margaret was born possibly in 1815 the daughter of John Power and Ann Moran. Some sources indicate she was born in Ireland whereas others suggest Massachusetts. We know her name from the baptismal record of a number of her children, including Mary Ann Kite Murphy as well as her marriage record. She is listed as the parent, with John Kyte, of Lawerence F. Kyte on Lawerence's death registration [1] 24 Feb 1901.She married John Kyte in River Bourgeois in 1843. She is reputed to have died in 1858, and John Kyte did remarry to Elizabeth Robertson in 1859.
