Biography

When Gladys Lucille Powers was born on December 4, 1916, in Lamar County, Texas, her father, Francis, was 37 and her mother, Elizabeth, was 33. Her mother died shortly after her birth, she was raised by Rufus Bevill-14 and Anna Horn Beville Horn-419. She married Elmer T Jenkins in 1940 in Texas, they had no children. She died on September 21, 2013, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 96, and was buried there.^[1]
