Research Notes
The records of service in the Revolutionary War should be reviewed. The man who was a clerk served in Connecticut; and the 1778 record for Massachusetts stretches the imagination that a man 62 years old would enlist for 3 years! Both of these records probably belong to other soldiers of the same name.
