Biography
George was probably born in 1799 at Southwark, Surrey, the son of Harry Powney and his wife Elizabeth.
On 2 Aug 1825 he married Jane Robinson at St. George, Hanover Square, London. He was a widower. They had no children.[1]
He died in March 1827 and was buried on 12 Mar 1827 at Old Windsor, Berkshire.[2]
