Biography

John is the son of Benajah Pratt and Persis Dunham. He married Margaret, daughter of Charles Kimball, around 1686 based on the birth of first child Benijah on December 8, 1686.[1] The births of eleven children were recorded in Plymouth vital records.[2]

On May 20, 1698, John posted bond to assure that his newly-arrived father-in-law would not be a burden to the town of Plymouth.[1]

Will of John Pratt dated 23 May 1730[3]

His inventory was taken on 18 May 1731.[4]
