In view of the indications that Samuel Pratt-4177 and Samuel Pratt-758 were two different men born on the same day and should not be confused, I have project-protected both profiles under the aegis of the Massachusetts Project. This will prevent ill-considered merges.

However, it is very important that both profiles be supported by reliable sources and that they clearly present the evidence for the details of each man's life (this means both FOOTNOTES and TEXT that discusses the evidence and its significance).

Note also that project-protection means that connections to parents, spouses, and children can only be edited by a Project Leader, a Project Coordinator, or a Profile Manager for the PPP profile. If you have children to add (or similar changes), you may need to ask for help.
