Biography

Sarah Prescott was born to John Prescott and his wife, Mary Gawkroger (Platts). She was baptized at Sowerby, Halifax Parish, England in 1637.[1]

She married Richard Wheeler August 2, 1658 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts. [2] [3]

Sarah Wheeler married Joseph Rice, February 22, 1677/8 in Dedham, Massachusetts. after the death (Indians) of Richard Wheeler.[4] [5]

Sarah Rice died November 20, 1727 at Sudbury, MA. [5][6] NOTE: An alternate date of death for Sarah has been shown as August 25, 1714, but no sources have been provided.

Prescott-1801 and Prescott-38 appear to represent the same person because: These two are duplicates and need to be merged. The mothers shown for comparison are not duplicates. They are cousins. One Mary was born in 1607 and her cousin was born in 1612/13.

Prescott-273 and Prescott-38 appear to represent the same person because: I believe these to be the same person. I am descendant from Sarah (Wheeler) Prescott, third wife of Joseph Rice married 22 Feb 1677/8
