She had eleven siblings, namely: Joseph, Margaret, Eleanor (Ellen), Hannah, Mary, Thomas, John, George, William, Frances Elizabeth, and James. She died on 13 Dec 1915^[3] in Yarramalong, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 16, she married William John Bailey, son of William Henry Bailey and Margaret Bradley, on 17 Sep 1849^[4] in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia.
