Mrs. John Price, 76, wife of John Price of Thelma, died at her home at 10:00 a.m., June 21 of a heart condition following an illness of two years. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and ElizabethMurray Preston and was a member of the United Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Burdridge Ferguson, Thelma, one sister, Mrs. Menifee Borders, Meally, and one brother,Mr. Perry (Tip) Preston, Meally. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 24, by the Revs. Leonard Walters and Herman Walters. Burial was in the family cemetery underthe direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
