Notes

Elizabeth (Bessie) Middleton wrote a letter on 19 Jan 1972 that "Harry" went to New Zealand and died there about 1914 unmarried. Strangely, he is not mentioned in his father's will dated 1899, but newspaper obituaries for his father in 1903 do refer to a son in New Zealand. An online electoral roll for Auckland for 1905 includes a Hugh Henry Price of "Grey Street, labourer" - so this may be him. He then disappears from the records, before a man of the same name re-appears in Auckland in 1928 and in subsequent years. The only registered death of a Price with a similar name to die 1905-1916 was 45 year old Hugh Wynne Price in 1908. This could hardly be Hugh Henry. However, there is one Hugh Henry Price whose death was registered in died in New Zealand - in Auckland in October1949 aged 88 - which almost matches an 1862 birth date. So, perhaps this is him.

In 1913 a Mr H Price aged 51 was listed as a passenger on a ship from London to Wellington, NZ.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Harry by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Harry:
