Chase Price was born in 1731 at Knighton, Radnorshire, Wales.
He married Sarah Evelyn on 21 Mar 1766 at St. George, Hanover Square, London. [1] Apparently she sometimes used Glanville as her surname which was the surname of her father's first wife (not her mother). She is also sometimes called Susan rather than Sarah. She is called "Sarah" in Chase Price's will.
There is an extremely detailed article on Chase Price in the History of Parliament Online which includes these details about his death: "Price died on 28 June 1777. Mrs. Boscawen, widow of the Admiral, a half-sister of Mrs. Price, wrote to Mrs. Delany, 30 June:"[1]
On Friday ... Price appeared to be particularly well, for he has had a mortal disease, I am persuaded, a long time, and at length it ended him instantaneously, for he appeared to be in a profound sleep when his servant found him dead on Saturday morning.
He was buried 8 Jul 1777 at Knighton-On-Teme, Worcester.[2] He left a will proved 14 July 1777 which is available at The National Archives.[3]
