William Price was born on 7th October 1808 in Coleorton, Leicestershire, England. He was the son of William and Dorothy. ^[1]

Parents Wm. Price and Dorothy Statham. Occupation Shoemaker.

In 1841, William Price (30, a shoemaker), wife, Ann (30) and their son, Charles (5) were living in Coleorton Moor, Leicestershire. ^[2]

In 1851, William Price (42, a shoemaker), his wife, Ann (42) and two children, Charles (14) and Herbert (2) were living in Coleorton Moor, Leicestershire. ^[3]

William Price (45, a shoemaker) arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana on 18th March 1854, having embarked in Liverpool, England for Salt Lake, Utah aboard the SS Golconda. ^[4] Also aboard the Golconda was his wife, Ann Price (45) ^[5] his son, Charles Price (17), ^[6] and son, Herbert Price (5) ^[7]

In 1860, William Price (50), wife Ann (50), and son, Herbert Price (11) were living in 19th Ward Great Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Territory, United States. ^[8]

In 1870, William Price and Ann (both 60), and Herbert Price (20) were living in 19th Ward Great Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah Territory, United States. ^[9]

Wife, Ann died on 2nd August 1874.

In 1880, William (72, a shoemaker) was a widower living in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. ^[10]

William S Price died on 9th October 1890 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He was buried there on 11th October. ^[11][12]
