Biography

Lawrence was born about 1837. He was the son of William Price and Lydia Grant. According to picture of gravestone, he passed away in 1919.[1]

  • Gravestone in the Lenetine Cemetery in New Brunswick, Canada shows:
    • Lawrence Price, born in 1837, died 1919.
    • Phoebe Schriver born in 1868, died 1922.
    • Their daughter Amy Price, born in 1863, died 1942.

Lawrence & Phoebe had the Post Office in their home before the days of rural routes. He was a physically strong man. Not known for violence. The 1881 census identified Lawrence as a Baptist. Phoebe and Lawrence had twelve (12) children.
