In the 1878 Directory of Baltimore County, Mordecai had a general merchandise store in Black Rock. Also, a M.B. Price had a general merchandise store in Mt. Carmel.

In the 1880 U.S. Census, Mordecai lived in the 5th District of Baltimore County and he was a "farmer."

In the 1900 Census, Mordecai still lived in the 5th District, and he was a "farmer."

Letters were granted on the personal estate of Mordecai B. Price to Rachel A. Price,
executrix. Published in the Baltimore County Union on 20 June 1903.
