Biography
- Thomas Price was born on 12 March 1765 in Halifax (later Pittsylvania) County, Virginia, the fifth or sixth of eight or nine known children and the third or fourth of five or six sons of Thomas Price and Sarah Baldwin.
- On 9-10 October 1782, when he was in his later teens, he married Margaret McCoy in Bedford County, Virginia. She bore him at least 12 children in 21 years, including a son whom they names Patrick.
- In 1839-1940, when he was about seventy-four, Thomas died in Rockingham County, North Carolina.[1] of unknown causes.

- Thomas Price was married to Margaret McCoy on 10 October1782 in Bedford County, Virginia, by The Rev. Wiliam Johnson. (Margaret was the daughter [of?] Anna Stump; David Clay, surety; consent of John Stump, step-father of Margaret).[2][3]

Most likely Thomas Price Jr (1765-1839) should not be connected to Margaret (McCoy) Price (abt.1762-1830) if he truly is the man in the Will in North Carolina.
