Priscilla Alma PRICE [1], daughter of William Peter PRICE and Catherine [Kate] Margaret SHORT, was born on 17 Feb 1891 in Deloraine, Tasmania, [2] died on 22 Mar 1956 in Windsor, Victoria, [3] at age 65, and was cremated on 26 Mar 1956 in Springvale, Victoria, [1]

Priscilla married Enoch JAMES, son of Ephriam JAMES and Fanny TAYLOR, in 1931 in Wellington, NZ.4 Enoch was born on 14 Jun 1897 in Willenhall, ENG, [5] died on 4 Oct 1958 in St Kilda, Victoria, [5] at age 61, and was cremated on 8 Oct 1958 in Springvale, Victoria, [6]

They had one son: Milton Lloyd.

General Notes: Enoch JAMES enlisted in the Australian Army 18/7/1941 at Paddington NSW at the age of 44, Service #NX39029 [N65635]. He was a prisoner of war. He was discharged on 25/3/1948, Rank Warrant Officer Class 1. Posting at discharge - 2 ECHELON [MALAYA]. Enoch JAMES was buried at the Springvale Botanical Cemetery, Springvale, C of E, Monumental Compartment P, Section 12, Grave 38. On 15/7/1937, Enoch wrote to the Officer in Charge of base records at the Victoria Barracks, Melbourne, stating that Priscilla Alma PRICE was now his wife, and because she had been granted Charles Edward PRICE's deferred pay, that she should be entitled to all his war medals . Charles was killed in action during WW1. Base Records replied to Enoch, advising them that Charles medals were handed over to the custody of Leslie John PRICE, on his undertaking to preserve same with due care. Enoch's parents are listed on his death registration.
