Guy Elijah Price was born 28 Nov 1884, in Tuscola, Douglas County, Illinois. His parents are William Price and Callender Martin.

In June 1900, they were living at 110 Grant Street, San Jose, Santa Clara County, California. Parents William and Callendar, with children Guy, Robert, William, Blanche, and Muriel. ^[1]

He married Ethel Mae Kimmell, 10 Oct 1909 in the Centella Methodist Church, San Jose, Santa Clara County, California.

Guy passed away 08 Nov 1963, in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California. He was buried on 12 Nov 1963, in the Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, Santa Clara County, California. ^[2]

Research Notes

• Guy passed away in 1963. In 1968, Ethel was living on Big Basin Highway, Boulder Creek, Santa Cruz County, California. This was on property taxes in the Santa Cruz County Treasurer-Tax Collector, and on records with the Assessor's Office. No records are in the current online data base. Back in 1946-1963, they were not using street numbers, their address was known as "Blue Door Inn", Restaurant in the front, with a residence structure next to it. In 1960-1961, the Restaurant was closed, and Guy used it as a Realty office, Barr Realty and Mission Realty. It was still called the Blue Door Inn for many years, well into the late 1970's, even though there was not any open business at the address. Virgil M. Kester III.
