John was born about 1690. John Price ... He passed away about 1772. ???

Two men named John Price died in Virginia in the year 1772. Neither one is John Price married to Hannah Williamson. One was John Price married to Ann Younger whose will is recorded in Essex County. ^{[1] [2]}

The second John Price who died in 1772 was the husband of a Sarah whom many say was Sarah Brown although I have found no evidence of that. His will naming spouse and children found in ^[3]

Because there are several John Price men residing in Virginia in the 1700 time period, I have found the family members to be confused and or combined.

This reference should be removed as it is unlikely an individual born in 1690 served in the Revolutionary War. John Price. ^[4][5][6]

I find that information for children to be in conflict in many cases. An example is the numerous ancestry trees stating John, son of John Price and Hannah Williamson died in Shenandoah County, Virginia. YDNA test results from FamilyTreeDNA show this is not accurate. Direct Price male descendants of John Price, husband of Hannah Williamson, are in YDNA haplogroup R-M269 which is also true for others connected to this Price line. The YDNA for direct Price male descendants for John Price of Shenandoah County, often referred to as "Hawksbill" John Price are in haplogroup I-M253. ^[7]

No will has yet been found for this John Price. Children determined from Deed Records are Daniel Price, Elizabeth Price Shepherd, William Price and probable Mary Price, wife of Robert Willis. ^[8]
