Biography
Jonathan Clifford Price was born on 22 November 1882. No birth record has been found but in 1918, during WW I, when he registered for the US Army draft, he named his birthday and stated that his father was Frank M. Price, of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. He further stated that he personally was self-employed as an insurance and real estate agent, living in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana. [1]
On the 1 June 1900 US Census, "Clifford Price," was recorded as an 17-year-old white, single, male. He was born in Indiana and was currently living with his parents, Frank M. Price, 40, and S. Florence Price, 27 years old, plus a 2-year-old younger sister. The household was living in Webster Township, Wayne County, Indiana, USA. Frank M. Price was a "Farmer" who owned his own farm in Wayne County in 1900. [2]
On 3 September 1921 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, Jonathan Clifford Price married Delphia Blanche (Menefee) Clark (1885-abt.1943), a recent divorcee. [3]
