William Goodrich King, 60, of the 700 block of Cottonwood Court, a retired Navy captain, died Oct. 9, 1990, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Captain King, a native of Savannah, Ga., had retired from the Navy after 38 years. While in the Navy, he had served as officer in charge of the Boone Clinic and officer in charge of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Clinic. He was a veteran of Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Elena M. King; three daughters, Lynnete Janenko and Cynthia Clanton, both of Virginia Beach, and Lauren Speth of Manteo, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Maria-Elena Domingo of Guam and Cynthia Domingo of California; two stepsons, Ben Domingo and Mike Domingo, both of Guam; a brother, Robert King of Birmingham, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
