"GLEN INNES WEDDINGS." Daily Observer (Tamworth, NSW: 1917 - 1920) 24 October 1917: [1]
On Wednesday afternoon a wedding was celebrated at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, when Rev. A. P. Cameron joined in wedlock Mr. Herbert Austin, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Austin of Bald Nob, and Miss Minnie Price, daughter of the late Edward Sydney Price.
The bride wore a handsome gown of ivory crep-de-chene, trimmed with silk overall lace and pearls, and true-lover's knots; she also wore a wreath and veil, and carried a handsome shower bouquet.
Miss. R. J. Price (sister) attended as bridesmaid, and Mr. W. Smith filled the role of best man.
After the nuptial ceremony had been concluded the wedding party adjourned to Hunt's Cafe, where a reception was held. Later on, Mr. and Mrs. Austin left by the Glen Innes passenger train for Sydney on their honeymoon.
