Biography

Patience^[1] was born about 1721 in Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey,^[2][3] one of two known children and the only daughter of Zachariah (Jr.) and Mary Troth Prickett. She was possibly a twin of of Zachariah (III).

Alternate birth information: Born c1720 in Northampton, Burlington County, New Jersey.^[4][5]

On 25 August 1740, at the age of about nineteen, she married Joseph Haines in Evesham^[6] or Burlington,^[7] and bore him three known children, all sons:

1. Joseph Haines
2. Jonathan Haines
3. Vincent Haines.

Licence of Marriage on the Twenty Fifth Day of August AD 1740 was granted by his Exly Lewis Morris Esq Govr to Joseph Haines of Evesham in ye County of Burln Blacksmith of ye one part and Patience Prickett Spinster Daughter of Zachariah Prickett of ye same place Yeomn of ye other part. She died in Evesham of unknown causes on an unknown date.^[8][9]
