Sarah (Prickett) Morgan was born in Augusta County, Virginia.
Sarah Prickett was born on 6 August 1775 on Prickett's Creek, District of West Augusta, Virginia[1], the fifth of eleven children and the third of seven daughters of [Prickett-124|Josiah]] and Charity Taylor Prickett.
In 1797, when she was in her early twenties, she married Uriah Morgan in Monongalia County.[2] She bore him seven known children, four sons and three daughters, including:
  1. Josiah Morgan
  2. Zackquill Morgan
  3. Zadock Morgan
  4. David Morgan.
