Biography

1898 Alabama Marriage

Vaughn was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Precinct 16 Morris town, Jefferson County, Alabama for the June 19, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born May 1877 in Alabama and had been married two years. She was the mother on one child and this child was still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head J Vaughn and daughter Cora Vaughn.[1]

Ora Vaughn was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Self, Blount County, Alabama for the April 26, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1878 in Alabama and had been married twelve years. She was a farm laborer on a home farm. She was the mother of four children of which all were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James P Vaughn, daughter Cora Vaughn, daughter Ellie Vaughn, son Webster Vaughn and daughter Ollie Vaughn.[2]

Ora Lois Prince was listed as the mother of Hamilton Vaughn who wed Fannie Mae Franklin August 11, 1936 in Jefferson County, Alabama. The father was listed as Jim Perry Vaughn. The bride's father was listed as Tom Franklin and her mother Junie Mae Self.[3]

Ora Ann Prince is listed as the mother in the Warrior, Jefferson County November 3, 1957 Alabama Death of daughter Ellie Lenoia Hays. The father was listed as James P. Vaughn.[4]

1962 Alabama Death of husband

Ora Ann Prince Vaughn is buried at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Locust Fork, Blount County, Alabama.[5]
